Since 1967, family-owned Allen Marine has been building vessels and conducting boat excursions for visitors to Alaska. All of the vessels owned by the company were constructed in its Sitka boatyard. Allen Marine is a family operated business with a fleet of numerous vessels and operations in Sitka, Juneau and Ketchikan. As one of the largest day-cruise companies in Alaska designs and builds boats, bridges, ramps and floats. The company is also a reseller of boat trailers, outboard engines, inboard engines, all-terrain vehicles and power equipment. In 1999, the Alaska State Chamber of Commerce awarded Allen Marine as the Small Business of the Year.
