History

Aleutia was founded by families living in Alaska's remote Eastern Aleutian Islands and Western Peninsula. The goal was to support communities by bringing locally harvested, wild, ocean-run seafood directly from the fisherman to seafood lovers throughout the U.S. . By maintaining the highest harvest standards, Aleutia families have been able to bring an unsurpassed level of seafood quality to the market. Shelf life is extended and the ocean-fresh wild flavor is maintained. In exchange, local fishermen receive fair trade for their harvest, local communities benefit through economic development opportunities and families are able to share their unique story with the world.
