Alaska Rock Garden Society

Founded in 1997, the Alaska Rock Garden Society is a chapter of the North American Rock Garden Society, which was organized in 1934 and has more than 4,500 members in the United States, Canada and over 30 countries. The North American Rock Garden Society encourages the study and cultivation of wildflowers that grow well among rocks. Through its publications, meetings and garden visits, North American Rock Garden Society provides opportunities for beginners and experts to expand their knowledge of plant cultivation and the construction, maintenance and design of special interest gardens.
