History

Alaska Physical Therapy Specialists opened in 2004 and has continuously strived to provide the highest quality physical therapy available by only employing Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapist for the most efficient care possible. We have Specialists in Spinal and Extremity Orthopedic Therapy, Sports Injuries, Women's Health, Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy and TMD/Craniofacial pain. We do not employ any aides or techs and all treatment sessions are one on one with a physical therapist, from start to finish.

The Physical Therapists of APTS recognize that there are many factors that can affect one's wellness including but not limited to: exercise, diet, rest, environment, and hereditary factors. APTS provides natural, drugless, nonsurgical treatment, relying on the bodies inherent recuperative functions through exercise and manual therapy treatment. The treatment of our clients will take into account the physical, social and psychological well being that may effect their treatment and overall healing. A strong emphasis on continued attainment of knowledge by the therapist allows our clients to receive the highest quality of care available. A coordinated team approach is established between our therapists and the patient's medical provider in order to provide the highest quality in rehabilitation services. A focus on manual therapy utilizing evidence based techniques is emphasized to establish the return of normal physiological joint motion and ultimately improved function. The APTS Team
