Mirror Lake Middle School, also known as MLMS, is an educational institution that offers a range of academic programs and extracurricular activities. The school serves students in grades six through eight. It provides classes in various subjects, such as social studies, language arts, math, science and special education. The school organizes arts festivals and bookfairs. It operates art and homework clubs, as well as conducts spelling bee competitions. The school additionally supports the National Junior Honor Society and publishes a newsletter. Mirror Lake Middle School is a part of the Anchorage School District, which operates vehicle maintenance, community services, risk management and human resources departments.

Philosophy & Mission We are part of a rapidly growing international community of schools that embrace Waldorf, Education. The groundwork for Aurora Waldorf School was laid in 1988 and has since grown into a full-fledged Waldorf School, offering Waldorf Education from pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Highland Tech High is a public charter secondary school that provides learning experiences for students in grades 7 through 12. It assists in the development of character skills. The school specializes in the fulfillment of the academic, social and technical needs of students. It offers educational courses in Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science, Writing and Physical Education. Highland Tech High also conducts business luncheons, as well as provides Job Shadowing options. It operates a library media center that supports the academic curriculum and assists students in the use of current and appropriate information. The schhol serves a selection of lunch items.
