Williamson High School & Middle Grades Preparatory

Founded in 1953, Mae Eanes Middle School provides a range of educational programs to more than 700 students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes math, language arts, social studies, science, reading, and business and physical education. The school additionally offers special education classes for students with learning disabilities. It provides instructive sessions related to band, chorus, business technology and computer applications. The school operates a library that offers a variety of educational and learning materials. It offers opportunities for students to participate in a range of sports activities, including cheerleading, basketball, football, volleyball, and track and field. The school also provides guidance and counseling sessions. It supports the Shakespeare Club and a student council. Mae Eanes Middle School is a part of Mobile County Public Schools, which is a school district that serves over 63,000 students through nearly 100 elementary, middle and high schools.
