In 2004, Delta Safaris Australian born founder discovered the Mobile-Tensaw Delta in Alabama and fell in love with the the serenity and mystical draw the delta holds to all who spend time with her. He had been searching the world for an untouched wilderness to launch an adventure tour business for a decade, and the Delta answered the call. It was 2007 before the dream became a reality with the birth of Five Rivers Delta Safaris, offering delta eco tours and related services, located at Alabama State Lands newly built Five Rivers Delta Resource Center. Six years later, Delta Safaris is proud to have brought the delta into the hearts and minds of nearly 100,000 guests, creating lasting memories for locals and international travelers alike.
