Whatley & Darty Commercial Real Estate was founded in October, 2001 by Kenny Whatley and Lan Darty, two experienced commercial real estate agents, in Dothan, AL. The newly-founded company quickly obtained a substantial share of the commercial property listings in the area. An expansion was made by the Company into the Panama City, Florida market in early 2005 with the opening of Whatley & Darty Real Estate & Development, LLC in Panama City Beach. The Florida company has been a leader in marketing resort development properties and also lists and sells residential and commercial properties. Kenny Whatley subsequently acquired Lan Darty's interest in both businesses. The Company has extensive lists of retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, hospitality, office, restaurant and warehouse users and tenants as well as developers of all types of properties that could be made available for potential buyers or lessees.
