Via Grandfriends

Grandfriends Adult Day is a program that is conducted by Via!, which provides a variety of personal support services to senior citizens. Grandfriends - an Adult Day Program features several activities to enhance emotional, physical and mental well-being of the participants. The program includes ceramics classes, hymn singing sessions, pet visits and table game activities that are supervised by nurses, senior companions and volunteers. Via! offers home care, emergency assistance, case management and transportation services. It operates community information and resource center that organizes a range of fitness programs, health education clinics, continuous learning classes and recreational activities. The organization also conducts several health seminars and maintains a location in Mobile, Ala.
