Wallace State Community College, based in Hanceville, Ala., offers various technical and vocational courses in adult basic education, and continuing and distance education. It also provides courses in various technologies, such as civil, electrical and electronic engineering, industrial maintenance, machine tools, mechanical designing, telecommunications, and drafting and design technology. It offers several sports, such as tennis, basketball, baseball, cross country, softball and volleyball. The college additionally offers community services that include a career center, talent search programs, skills training center, student support services and industry training.
