The Dannon Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Birmingham, AL that focuses on assisting unemployed or underemployed at-risk youth and returning citizens in reintegrating into society. They provide a range of supportive services, including training, certifications, job placement, and re-entry case management, with the aim of repairing, restoring, and renewing the lives of their participants. Through their intensive case management system and extensive referral network, they begin working with incarcerated individuals six months prior to release, aiming to break the cycle of recidivism and help people successfully reintegrate into communities in Alabama and South Carolina. With a strong commitment to second chances, The Dannon Project not only works towards restoring the lives of their participants but also their families, offering everyone an opportunity to achieve life success. They collaborate with various industries to help each participant secure and maintain a job that aligns with their interests and skills. The organization boasts an impressive estimated job retention rate of 96% for program participants two years after graduation.
