The mission of the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office is to preserve and protect life, property and the rights of all citizens of Lauderdale County in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama and the United States. This mission is preformed by professional law enforcement officers who are highly trained and dedicated to maintaining the highest level of public trust. We are ever moving toward the reduction of crime and continually adjust our operational strategy to meet the future requirements of our community. For this mission we dedicate our efforts to protect and serve Lauderdale County Citizens.

The Revenue Commissioner's Office is managed by Jackson County in Alabama. The office is responsible for determining business and personal property values, as well as focuses on the appraisal and assessment of the properties. It also sets values and title regulations for vehicles. The Revenue Commissioner's Office offers property tax and vehicle tag renewal solutions. In addition, the office provides online payment solutions for property taxes. It charges taxes for land, houses, swimming pools and barns, as well as aircraft, commercial mobile and portable units, agricultural and occupied residential properties. The Revenue Commissioner's Office additionally provides assessment solutions for manufactured homes.

Morgan County Sheriff s Office s mission is to offer public service and protection to the citizen s of the community. The responsibilities associated with this mission include the enforcement of all federal, state and local laws; maintaining peace and order in Morgan County, Ala.; protecting property and personal safety; providing professional public safety dispatching services; and generally assisting citizens in need.
