TLC Nursing Center

The TLC Nursing Center is a 100-bed rehabilitation and nursing facility. Located in Oneonta, Ala., the center provides short-term rehabilitation and long-term care services to clients in the Blount County and throughout central and northern Alabama. It offers 24 hours medical supervision, therapies and home-cooked meals. The center is Medicare and Medicaid certified and provides amenities, such as telephones, beauty salon, barbershop, wanderguard safety system, mail delivery and resident trust accounts. It also offers on-site psychiatric and psychological services provided by professional licensed doctors. The TLC Nursing Center s staff consists of licensed nursing home administrator, medical director, registered nurses, careplan team, clinical social workers, therapists, pathologists, dietary manager and on-site trainers. Its staff prepares an individualized care plan for patients that include a replacement program, pain management, amputee program, functional communication therapy, podiatry services and arthritis management.
