Welcome to Sweat Tire Company Founded on November 1st, 1963 as an outdoor recap shop, Sweat Tire has been serving the Baldwin County community for nearly 50 years! Operating in the same location along Highway 59 in central Robertsdale that we started, we now provide a full range of automotive services. Recently, we expanded into north Baldwin County, with the opening of our Bay Minette location. We greatly value this community and appreciate your continued support. Since opening in 1963 by the Sweat Family, we have experienced consistent growth, resulting in numerous expansions. Initially, Sweat Tire provided tire re-capping for $10.95/tire outdoors near the Grand Theatre. Not long after having been in business, the theater was purchased to serve as an office. In 1965, the adjoining vacant lot was closed in to create the 6-bay automotive shop that you see today. Learn More About Our History and View Photos In need of additional office space and customer waiting areas, the Fosberg Furniture store next door was purchased in 1980. Going along with our slogan, we expanded further in 1985, purchasing the Hub City Florist building for warehousing our broad product line. On October 1, 2007, Sweat Tire Company was purchased from third-generation Sweats by Dewane and Carmen Hayes. Recently we have made substantial renovations to the historic Robertsdale location, as well as expanded to Bay Minette, and in 2010 we will be opening a new location in Mobile, AL. We are encouraged by the support of the community and look forward to another 50 years! Today we're proud to announce the launch of our brand new website! Working with Anchor Innovative, we've developed a comprehensive online strategy that includes this dynamic website along with a presence on various social media outlets.
