History
In January 2001, Studio 509 Salon Spa was established at 509 Gunter Avenue in the historical business district of Olde Town Guntersville. It's owner is Master Cosmetologist, Barbara Sedberry. Prior to opening the Studio, Barbara was part owner of another Aveda Concept salon, E'ston Salon in Memphis, TN. E'ston Salon employed a staff of sixty and was recognized nationally as a Top 200 salon by Salon Today Magazine. Though Barbara didn't want to continue the hectic lifestyle of managing a large staff, she did see the opportunity to make a contribution to the community by establishing Lake Guntersville's first and only Aveda Concept Salon Spa.

Great folks, I have gone there for years. Brandon is so talented with the scissors. Owners are so nice. The parking is the only negative.
