Sri Bathini, MD

Dr. Katragadda grew up in India and received his M.D. at the Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India. After working at the Myeloma Institute at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock, he moved to Gainesville, where he completed his Hematology and Oncology fellowship at the University of Florida. He also finished a fellowship in Leukemia from MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. He and his wife have a daughter and a son. He enjoys spending his free time with his family, and is a avid sports fan.

Dr. Ehab El-Bahesh grew up in Marshall County, Alabama. He received his bachelors degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and his M.D. from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 2009. Following completion of his residency in Internal Medicine at George Washington University (GWU), Dr. El-Bahesh practiced Internal Medicine at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Virginia. Later, he completed a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at GWU. Dr. El-Bahesh is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology with numerous publications in the fields of malignant hematology, genitourinary cancers, gastrointestinal diseases, lung cancer, and immunotherapy.

Dr. John Waples earned his Medical Degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine, where he also completed his internship, residency and fellowship. While at the University of Florida he was a Clinical Fellow in Medical Oncology with specialization in Bone Marrow Transplant. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and is board certified in Medical Oncology. He has been certified with FACT as a certified bone marrow transplant physician. Dr. Waples also maintains an active research effort. He has written multiple study protocols which are for the benefit of patients in the North Alabama area. His research studies have been opened by multiple cancer centers across the nation to further oncology advancements.
