SpectraCare Health Systems Inc. is a regional community-based system that provides mental health, substance abuse and intellectual disability services in Southeast Alabama in Barbour, Dale, Geneva, Henry and Houston Counties. It has received certification from the Alabama Department of Mental Health. SpectraCare Health Systems Inc. , formerly known as Wiregrass Mental Health Board, was established in 1968 under the Alabama State Legislature. It also also offers a number of services, including disability compensation, pension, GI Bill, vocational rehabilitation and employment.
