South Alabama Land Trust

South Alabama Land Trust, formerly known as the Weeks Bay Foundation, is a Nationally Accredited Land Trust dedicated to protecting land and promoting environmental education in coastal Alabama. Since its incorporation in 1990, the organization has successfully conserved over 11,000 acres of coastline in Baldwin and Mobile counties through conservation easements, land donations, and purchases.

With a mission to ensure clean water and support for local wildlife and outdoor recreation, South Alabama Land Trust engages the community through various events and programs, such as the Alabama Coastal BirdFest and nature-based educational activities.
