(Andy) Smith, a long-time Birmingham area marketing executive, and his wife Dorcas Smith, a home care business owner, formed Affinity Marketing, a full-service advertising and marketing agency in 1993. Smith previously held marketing and sales positions at The Birmingham News/Post Herald for 27 years. He also founded and owned Recycled Racks, Inc. and Kustom Threads, Inc. Andy, a Birmingham native, graduated from Ramsay High School and Birmingham Southern College. He served for six years in the U.S. Army Reserve.
