In service for more than 35 years, L'Arche Mobile is an social welfare organization. Based in Mobile, Ala., it offers social service to individuals with mental disabilities. The organization provides work and accommodation facility for disabled individuals. Its recreational center conducts a host of activities, such as recycling paper, weaving and card making. L'Arche Mobile offers a place of retreat and prayer for the members. The organization organizes a variety of events, including pre-season football and golf tournaments, among others.
