The Southeast Alabama Regional Planning and Development Commission (SEARPDC) was established in 1969 and is comprised of a group of 35 individuals from seven member counties who serve as liaisons for the citizens they represent. The Commission’s primary objective is to address the needs of the community by setting goals and implementing strategies to enhance the quality of life in Southeast Alabama.
SEARPDC oversees various projects focused on community and economic development, including transportation studies and grants aimed at improving infrastructure. By fostering collaboration among local entities and residents, SEARPDC is committed to making Southeast Alabama a better place to live and work.
