So much history is simply demolished. Some cities, like Montgomery, have sites such as these that reassemble these otherwise forgotten bits of bygone days. It's fun to ramble through these old...

Sort of interesting, but somewhat light on substance. Old Alabama Town is an assembly of old buildings the organization has saved and moved from elsewhere in the state and reassembled them here....

Cute place to visit!! We toured all blocks and enjoyed the guided townhouse tour. The restorations are great and really give the feel of the 1700-1800 era when these homes and businesses existed....
