SpecialtiesDCH SportsMedicine is a comprehensive service designed to meet the needs and interests of the entire family. Emphasis within the program is on prevention, recognition, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation and education of sports injuries. DCH SportsMedicine offers complete health care assistance for athletes of all ages and levels of participation. By providing athletic trainers at athletic events, we are helping to ensure your athlete a quick and safe return to play. Our athletic trainers are: Nationally certified and state licensed. We are the exclusive provider of athletic training services to Tuscaloosa County and City school systems, American Christian Academy, Holy Spirit Catholic School, and Tuscaloosa Academy at no cost to these schools. Physician guided and directed by Dr. James B. Robinson, our medical director. At their schools on a daily basis for practice and game coverage. We provide more than 16,500 hours annually to the schools we service. Serving as a liaison between athletes, coaches, parents and physicians, our goal is to provide local athletes with the best possible health care available.
