Marion Military Institute

Founded in 1993, The Capitol School works for the intellectual, physical and technical development of students in pre-kindergarten through 12. The school offers classes in history, mathematics, Spanish, English, physical education, art and music. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The Capitol School organizes several sports activities, such as swimming and soccer. The school has a work force of more than 15 employees, including teachers and support staff members. It maintains a parent-teacher association that organizes fundraisers and Thanksgiving dinner. The Capitol School offers various recreational opportunities through several clubs and is located in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The school has received its first full accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Prattville Christian Academy is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Alabama Independent School Association. It serves students in kindergarten through grade 12. The academy offers a range of general academic programs in Bible study, physical education, computer applications and liberal arts, such as music, art, drama and foreign language. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, math, science and social studies. Prattville Christian Academy supports a variety of sports activities, such as football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, tennis, golf, cheerleading, and track and field.
