History

After a retirement trip to the wineries of Napa and Sonoma, Jim Lee's dream to start a vineyard could not be squelched. When he returned home to the family farm in the foothills of the Appalachia Mountains, he got to work on making that dream a reality creating Maraella Vineyards & Winery. 14 years later, the dream made into reality continues, and the name Maraella (and how it was derived) is known for their traditional made wines. Endowed with several awards by wine enthusiasts from New York to California, Maraella wines are truly something special to be enjoyed for generations to come.
