The Community Development Center is a nonprofit organization that provides services to child care providers, as well as individuals with developmental challenges. It provides intervention for families who are at-risk of abuse and neglect; independent support coordination for adults with a developmental disabilities; and services to persons who are at-risk from HIV/AIDS. The center receives funding through city and county governments, civic clubs, churches, businesses and industries. It also receives support from the United Way and United Givers Fund, as well as organizes several fundraising activities.
