Journeys is a shoes company that operates more than 850 stores throughout the United States. Its stores offer footwear and accessories for teenagers. Journeys provides products from the Dr. Martens, Converse, Timberland, Vans, Diesel, adidas and DC Shoe brand names. It is a subsidiary of Genesco, which was founded in 1924 and is one of the leading retailers and wholesalers of branded footwear and headwear in the world. The parent company operates over 2,150 footwear and headwear retail stores in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada under the Johnston & Murphy, Journeys Kidz, Shi by Journeys, Underground Station, Hat World, Lids, Hat Shack and Hat Zone brand names. Genesco relies on independent third-party manufacturers for the production of its footwear products sold at wholesale.
