Hurricane Creek Park

Hurricane Creek Park offers some of the most pristine and unique nature around. The park offers several miles of trails for hiking or jogging, as well as, areas for picnicking. The park is anchored by Hurricane Creek which flows through the middle of the deep Hurricane Creek gorge and has carved out beautiful rock formations, caves and more. Park classics include the Twilight Tunnel, Deadman's Squeeze, natural rock cliffs and bluffs. The park also offers some of the best rock climbing across the southeast with easy rock faces for beginners up to more difficult climbs for the adrenaline-seeking expert. Group rates are also available for out First Time Rock Climbing Program for your youth group, summer camp, business or other organization. The deck at the front entrance also offers picnic tables for birthday parties and special events.
