Little Paws Preschool, a ministry of Smiths Station Baptist Church, has been serving the community for over 20 years, offering a weekday preschool program that follows the calendar of the Lee County School System. With a focus on the A Beka Curriculum, Little Paws provides children with an introduction to the Bible, as well as teaching them letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and social skills. Operating from Monday to Friday in the mornings, Little Paws Preschool offers classes for K3 and K4 students, who have the opportunity to engage in a reading program after the Christmas break.
