Gelato Joe’s….. we are not just an ice cream/gelato shoppe…. Our customers say we are “the best kept secret in Foley, Alabama”! Gelato Joe’s is a warm and inviting casual dining restaurant offering paninis, sandwiches, salads, soups, Italian favorites, gelato, and homemade desserts. We offer quick service lunch and a full dinner service. Our food is made fresh in the restaurant from authentic recipes. We’re one of the highest rated restaurant on Yelp in our local area. It all started in 1985 in the small town of Century, Florida when Joe Lasala opened a Philadelphia style deli and sandwich shop (The Sandwich Deli) which is still owned and operated by Joe’s brother Paul and his family. After returning north two years later to open another family deli just outside Philadelphia, PA followed by a salon and spa in Southern New Jersey, he relocated to Baldwin County in 2007 and decided to bring all of the homemade specialties to the Gulf Coast with “GELATO JOE’S”!!!!!!!
