Fleeta Junior High School

Niceville Senior High School is a public secondary school providing education to students in grades nine through 12. The school provides a wide range of college preparatory courses in various subjects, including English, social studies, math, fine arts, life management skills and personal fitness. Additionally, the school offers advanced placement, International Baccalaureate, honors and dual enrollment programs in various subjects, such as biology, statistics, psychology, calculus, economics, and American history and government. It also offers a wide range of foreign language courses in Spanish, German and Latin. The athletic programs of the school comprise baseball, basketball, softball, football, cross country, golf, soccer swimming, tennis, track, volleyball, weightlifting and wrestling. The clubs and organizations of the school include Majorettes, the National Honor Society, step team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and art, chess rugby and swing clubs. It also provides the Air Force Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps program. The school is located in Niceville, Fla.

Cherokee Elementary School, located in Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is affiliated with Okaloosa County School District. The school provides a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to students in prekindergarten through grade five. Its core curriculum includes English, arts, music, science, social studies, mathematics, and computer and physical education. Cherokee Elementary School also offers guidance, media studies, reading, writing, spelling, learning disabilities, speech, remediation, and gifted and talented education programs. The school has a parent-teacher association that focuses on increasing awareness and participation in curriculum and policy development by enhancing communication between home and school.

Opp High School provides academic instruction and enrichment programs to more than 400 students in grades 9 though 12. The school s academic course includes several subjects, such as language arts, math, science and history. It offers a selection of programs in art, Spanish, and physical, special and computer education. Opp High School also manages a media center, band and booster club. The school encourages students to take part in a range of athletic activities, including softball, football and basketball. In addition, it provides health care, food and guidance counseling services. Opp High School is one of the educational facilities managed by Opp City Schools.
