Etowah County Career Tech Center

The Etowah County Career Technical Center offers academic programs and leadership training to prepare students for careers or postsecondary training in career technical fields. The center s automotive technology program provides training in the use of computer and other electronic diagnostic testing equipment, technical manuals and problem solving methods. Its collision repair course provides instruction in basic panel, structural analysis and damage repair, as well as welding and cutting. The Etowah County Career Technical Center also offers classes in carpentry, drafting design technology and early childhood education. The center s curriculum additionally includes electrical, electronics, precision machining and welding technology. Located in Attalla, Ala., it is certified by the Alabama State Department of Education.
