We are an equine practice with special interest in medicine, ophthalmology, dentistry, lameness, and reproduction - we enjoy most areas of equine practice! We have a busy semen freezing service for purebred dogs and stallions. You ship us chilled and we can freeze that as well. We offer short term pasture boarding and lay up care. History

Dr. Danielle Bercier graduated from the VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. After years of equine practice she completed a dual residency in large animal internal medicine and equine practice at Mississippi State University. After this she came to Baldwin Co. and joined a mixed practice, but strongly preferred a busier equine environment, and that is when she developed Equine Medical Services. The goal of the practice was (and is) to provide specialized care to the horse owners of Baldwin and Escambia counties. We have a well stocked ambulatory truck for farm calls, and a well organized clinic for haul in service. In addition to the practice of equine medicine, Dr. Bercier also offers dog obedience classes on site. We have recently become a distributor for dac animal supplements and are excited to make it easier for people to get these products in their tack rooms!
