Dismals Canyon is an 85 acre Natural Conservatory privately owned and operated. Located in Northwest Alabama, it was designated a "National Natural Landmark" in 1975 by the National Park Service, United States Department of the Interior one of only 586 in the United States and its territories. It offers facilities that includes hiking the canyon floor and swimming and its country store offers supplies and Indian wares. Dismals Canyon offers a diversity of native plant life, including a stand of old-growth virgin timber composed chiefly of Hemlock, Tulip Poplar, Sweetgum, Bigleaf Magnolia and Beech.

Overall, the night tour was a great experience. I do think things could be better if there was one tour slot reserved for those with children.

It's a beautiful nature Walk and the waterfalls and pathway are easy to get to and you will be in awe of the beauty of it all
