The Key Underwood Coon Dog Memorial Graveyard is a small grassy meadow located in the Freedom Hills of Cherokee, AL. It is a special place of remembrance for one hunter's beloved coonhound, Troop, who was half redbone coonhound and half birdsong. It was originally a popular hunting camp, and is now a place where coon hunters from miles around can gather to remember their beloved coon hounds. The cemetery is home to Troop's special marker, and also offers souvenirs and links to other coon dog related sites. The 2020 Labor Day celebration has been canceled due to Covid-19.
