Ms. Wilcox was the lead programmer for the Jefferson County Information Management System. Retirement from the County allowed them to devote their fulltime energies into establishing their own company. Today, S&W MINICOMPUTERS, INC has contracts with thirty-three Alabama counties. With twenty-six employees in 6 departments, S&W is the only Alabama company providing software, hardware, maintenance, and technical support for ALL county government offices including: County Commission, Motor Vehicle, Probate Court, Property Tax Appraisal, Tax Assessor, Tax Collector, and License Commissioner.
