Muscle Shoals Police Department partners with the University of North Alabama Public Relations class to annually host a community appreciation day. Community Appreciation Day gives the officers of the Muscle Shoals Police Department a chance to give back to the community. It allows the officers to interact with the community and to get to know those that they serve. At Community Appreciation Day, there are several fun activities for kids to participate in. There are games and prizes, local entertainment and free food. Muscle Shoals Police Department provides finger printing services exclusively to the citizens of the city and individuals seeking employment within the business district of Muscle Shoals. This service is provided at no cost and is available on Wednesday's from 10: 00am until noon. Individuals must provide their own finger print cards.
