Captain D's was great. Employees were nice and the bathrooms were good too. Lady spilled water in the floor which totally amazing. Fish and funnel cakes are the best.

At our Russellville, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

The only place I go to get shrimp and fish. Tried Long John Silver's but didn't care for it. We live 24 miles away from a Captain D's but it's worth it to me.

Putting this out here to counter all the bad reviews. I had a good experience. I had to wait a bit for my baked potato, but they apologized and were very nice and friendly. I'd definitely eat here...

I was just driving through town and stopped at this Captain D's to try their new batter-dipped chicken sandwich. It was right at 11am, and I was the only customer around. Went thru the drivethru...

Overall, food was overly greasy and cooked in burnt oil. Very disappointed. I ate 3 shrimp then called it quits! Normally, I enjoy Capt D's, but this left slot to be desired....
