At our Pelham, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

2 piece fish dinner with no drink almost 10$. I asked for the coleslaw to be packaged in a separate container. It was not. Fries were cold. I understand now why there were no cars in the parking lot.

Last Thursday, 7/10/25, stop by for the Lobster Roll, tv and print ads show lobster meat. What I got was two scoops of a chopped/diced/ shredded unrecognizable seafood meat (I think) on a bun....

Horrible service. Came inside and nobody to take your order. Guy working drive through finally called for help from the back. He couldn't ring up the order and asked the other guy how to do it....
