Southeastern Diabetes Education Services has been providing children with diabetes fun-filled educational programs since its founding in 1949. Located at Birmingham, Ala., the group teaches children a list of diabetes management techniques during daily education seminars and other recreational activities. It also conducts numerous junior, senior and adventure camps which include Camp Seale Harris and Camp Sugar Falls, among other educational programs.
