A collection of traditional Japanese martial arts, forged in real combat. Comprised of 9 ryu, or schools, the Bujinkan system contains martial schools studied by the elite samurai, as well as tactics and philosophies employed by the legendary ninja. These concepts and tactics have survived through the ages, because they are easily adapted to modern combat situations, and to survival. Strikes, joint-locks, throws, grappling, weapons -- we study everything. This is not your kid's karate class -- this is Japanese budo. We train to get home. We train to survive.
