Founded in 1922, the YMCA Camp Cosby is a nonprofit organization that offers various youth development and community programs. It offers wakeboarding, horseback riding, waterskiing and climbing activities. The organization also features a water park with a variety of inflatable toys. Its facilities include a dining hall, bath house and nearly 15 cabins with bathrooms. The YMCA Camp Cosby additionally features a swimming pool, pavilion, gymnasium, athletic fields, stables and water slides. It organizes canoeing, kayaking, backpacking, caving, rock climbing and whitewater guided trips. The organization has space for group camping and can accommodate groups, including Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, athletic teams, women's retreats, Y-Guides, and extracurricular groups and organizations.
