Methodist Homes Corporation Providing safe and affordable housing and health care for God's "Older Children" Formed under Alabama law in 1956 in Birmingham, Alabama, Methodist Homes Corporation ( also known as Methodist Homes for the Aging Corporation and hereafter referenced to as "MHC" ) became an innovator in senior housing and geriatric care in the state of Alabama and northwest Florida. To serve God's "Older Children, " our homes are designed as places to live, not just exist. With Christian mission in mind, MHC continues to meet the continuing personal health needs of the elderly. Through extensive research, the plan for MHC's first home became a reality in 1961. Since that time we have grown to serve 13 facilities across Alabama and Northwest Florida. Our services include Garden Homes, Independent Living, Assisted Living, Specialty Care Assisted Living, Distinct Alzheimer's Care and Skilled Nursing Care.In February of 2010 the Board of Trustees of MHC adopted a Strategic Plan which includes a Vision Statement, a restated Mission Statement, and a list of Core Values.Methodist Homes aspires to be a national leader in shaping the culture of aging by enriching the lives of older adults and all those who serve them through innovative and life-affirming faith-based community services.

Incorporated in 1975, Eastside Mental Health Center provides services to persons with a serious mental illness living in Alabama's eastern Jefferson, Blount and St. Clair counties. Based in Birmingham, Ala., it offers an array of services, such as psychiatric evaluation, medication administration and monitoring, referrals for other social/health services and crisis after hour's phone counseling. The center is certified by the Department of Mental Health & Mental Retardation. Eastside Mental Health Center holds affiliations with the Alabama Council of Community Mental Health Boards (ACCMHB), National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and National Association of County Behavioral Health Directors (NACHB).

With clients in the heavy industry, commercial, institutional, chemical and municipal markets, McAbee Construction provides mechanical and industrial construction and fabrication of piping, vessels, modules, sheet metal and autoclaves. Its pipe-fitters, ironworkers, millwrights, sheet metal workers, laborers, operators, carpenters and boilermakers provide a variety of services and products, including construction reviews, maintenance and operability studies, process portability, function verification, carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel alloys, titanium, evaporators, heat exchangers, crystallization equipment, reactors, jacketed tanks, distillation tanks, pressure vessels, process equipment, fume removal, dust collection, chemical processing, rubber vulcanization and equipment rental.
