Big Ed's Pizza, established in 1961 by Big Ed Neusel, has been a beloved fixture in the greater Huntsville area for over 50 years. After Ed's move to Oak Ridge, TN, Steve Denton took over the business in 1969 and continued the family tradition until his passing in 2011, with the restaurant now managed by his three children, Renee, Darrell, and Dion.
Committed to quality, Big Ed's prepares all of its sauces and dough from scratch and hand-tosses each pizza and calzone. Utilizing the original seasoned gas ovens from the 1960s, the restaurant prides itself on delivering delicious pizzas, even if it takes a little longer for good things to come out of the oven.
