Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Gulf Coast is the leading one-to-one mentoring organization serving South Alabama and Mississippi, positively impacting over 1,800 individuals across seven counties each year. Their mission is to create and support mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth, matching caring adult volunteers, known as Bigs, with children ages 6 to 15, referred to as Littles, who benefit from consistent positive role models.

Through carefully screened and trained volunteers, the organization provides guidance, encouragement, and accountability to help Littles grow in confidence, make healthy choices, and reach their full potential. With a focus on mentorship as a proven solution, they aim to empower young people to graduate high school, enroll in college, and develop resilience to overcome life’s challenges.
