Christy Truitt is the Small Business Banker for SouthState at the East University/Auburn branch. She is responsible for servicing existing business relationships as well as growing additional opportunities. Christy is known as a responsive communicator with exceptional customer service skills.Christy attended Auburn University, where she majored in Communications with a double minor in Journalism and Business. Prior to joining SouthState in 2023, she spent more than 30 years serving customers in various banking roles, including branch banking, mortgage lending, farm credit, and real estate sales.Christy is an award-winning novelist with several writings in print. When not working, you can find her nose in a book. A recent grandmother for the first time, Christy relishes her role as CiCi to her granddaughter. An avid outdoorswoman, Christy can often be found in a tree stand or shooting house, in a kayak, or hiking up a mountain. She loves all things Auburn sports as well as downtime with her four-legged best friend, Hank.
