Alabama Allergy & Asthma Care

Established in 1968, Alabama Allergy & Asthma Center offers a suite of pediatric and adult health services for patients with allergies and chronic respiratory problems. Located at Decatur, Ala., the services offered include sinus care treatment, allergy shots, rhinoscopy, pulmonary-function testing, echo cardiogram and rush immunotherapy. The treatments provided by the center include control medications, prevention medications and rescue medications whose effects are generally shorter-lasting and are generally used in case of an acute asthma attack. Alabama Allergy & Asthma Center is affiliated to the Brookwood Medical Center, the Children's Hospital of Alabama, Baptist Health Systems, and UAB Health Systems.
