SpecialtiesI specialize in evaluating a student's interests and moving them to a course of study and performance that motivates them. No two students are the same. Some are more attracted to learning songs as well as reading notation, while others prefer a chordal approach. Later in the lessons, I add some basic theory so the student understands chord breakdown and chord movement.HistoryI added my own website in March 2015 to enlarge my presence on the internet, and to better explain my services. I began teaching guitar and bass in 1985 at The Fret Shop in Huntsville, Alabama, and continue there as well as remotely at home. I am also a singer-songwriter, having released four recordings with Ground Level Sound, and Face The Day, a solo album, in 2018.
