Drava Center is a nice place outside of Maribor. You can rent different boats there and row on the Drava river. You can rent bicycles and cycle around. There's a picnic place, bar, restaurant. There are a lot of activities for children. An if you want, you can just take a walk and enjoy the landscape, or feed the ducks and swans.
