Bommen Restaurang & Bar

Bommen Restaurang & Bar is located on the site of one of Gothenburg’s old toll gates. There has always been a restaurant at Torggatan 1 ever since the building was renovated in the 1870’s. Bommens cooking combines Swedish ingredients with influences from near and far. Exquisite examples are fried turbot ”pot au feu” on primeur vegetables; new potatoes in mussel broth; and crisp roast breast of duck served with savoy cabbage parcels filled with duck confit. Regulars include technicians, dressers, musicians and chorus members from the Gothenburg Opera, which is situated close by.
